Our Story
SurrendaSoft was founded on a simple idea: use the skills we've developed in commercial software to serve communities that might not otherwise have access to quality tools.
We call it the Tentmaker Model — building business software to fund our ministry work. Every commercial project helps support a parish, school, or community that needs thoughtful, well-built software.
This isn't a side project or an afterthought. It's how we've structured everything we do, and it's deeply intentional.

Our Founders
Meet the people behind SurrendaSoft.
Andrew is the steady hand and product mind behind SurrendaSoft.
He spent over 22 years at ResMed, progressing from embedded software engineer to Software Product Owner Manager for a Sydney-based team working on flagship medical devices. He's led product owners and Agile teams of around 50 people, aligning roadmaps, managing complex backlogs, and helping deliver software used by millions of patients worldwide.
His focus has always been simple: build the right things, at the right time, for the right reasons.
By tightening prioritisation and improving how teams work, Andrew has helped organisations save millions in development costs, avoid unnecessary features, and ship sooner with more clarity and confidence.
After ResMed, he deliberately stepped out of corporate life to run his own print-on-demand e-commerce business. Handling everything from design to fulfilment to customer service gave him a grounded view of how small businesses actually operate.
At SurrendaSoft, Andrew brings product leadership, calm execution, and a deep care for both people and outcomes. He turns ideas into workable plans and keeps delivery focused on real value.
Laurence has always been a systems thinker. He learned by following instructions, understanding how systems worked, and then going further — redesigning and improving them with intention. From early building projects to modern software systems, his focus has always been the same: creating things that function well, flow naturally, and feel right to use.
By fifteen, he was already building full digital products on his own: the UI, the UX, the flow, the logic, and the underlying architecture. He didn't learn software by following tutorials — he learned it by creating complete, usable systems end-to-end.
After a break from the craft in his twenties, Laurence returned with purpose. Over the last six years, he has built a suite of real-world products from the ground up: parish sacrament systems, admin dashboards, AI tools, counselling platforms, fitness applications, and workflow systems used by hundreds of people.
His strength is holistic product creation.
He designs the interface, maps the user experience, structures the data, engineers the architecture, and ensures every part of the product fits together cleanly and intuitively. He turns functional ideas into simple, coherent, beautiful software that real people can actually use.
At SurrendaSoft, Laurence brings the ability to take an idea from nothing to a fully working product — designed, built, and shaped with clarity and care.
Together, Andrew and Laurence combine product leadership with thoughtful system architecture —corporate experience with real-world, purposeful software building.
